With the start of a new Millennium, the events and the memories of World War ll drift further and further back into time and dim the memories of the generation who endured the difficulties and the uncertainties that these War Years brought with them . This website was created to memorialize the contributions made by the men of the US Marine Corps Aerial Photographic Reconnaissance Squadron, VMD-354, who served briefly in the South Pacific Ocean Theater of War during the closing days of World War ll. It is our wish that the families and friends of the men of VMD-354, visit this Website and use it as a window to look through, back, to a place and time so many years ago.
